How to Contact American Pivot

American Pivot takes questions and corrections at one email address: support@layer3labs.io. The link opens a new message in your email program with the subject line "American Pivot question" already filled in.

If you prefer a web page, the Layer3Labs support page lists the same address. The Layer3Labs contact address redirects to that support page.

American Pivot does not publish a response time for messages.

What to Include in Your Message

Include these details:

  • The page URL. Copy the link to the candidate profile, the federal overview, the Senate hub or the House hub.
  • The topic. Name the candidate, the race or the sentence your message concerns.
  • What you think should change. Quote the current wording and describe the change you are asking for.
  • Your evidence. Link the public record, official return or candidate statement, and give its date.

Leave sensitive personal information out of your message. Home addresses, identification numbers, health details and financial account numbers are not needed for a correction or a question.

Reporting a Correction

Correction requests go to the same email address, and the corrections page explains how American Pivot handles them.

American Pivot profiles cite public records and candidate statements, identifying dates where available. The editorial standards and methodology pages describe those rules, including the separation of an allegation, a response, an official finding and an outcome.

If a profile marks a position as unknown, that label does not mean opposition or absence of controversy. For that kind of change, send a source showing the candidate's stated position.

Questions About Election Results

State and local election officials are the authorities for certification dates. The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) explains that election-night results are unofficial even at 100 percent of precincts reporting, and that media projections are not certification.

The federal and chamber hubs on American Pivot separate media-called results from detailed published profiles. If a result shown on a hub looks wrong, send the page URL and the official source you are relying on.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulates federal campaign finance and does not run state election administration, according to its 2026 congressional primary calendar. The general election date on that calendar is November 3, 2026.
